Maple Leaf Western Distribution Centre

As the design-build contractor for the Maple Leaf Western Distribution Centre in Saskatoon, Stuart Olson Dominion (SODCL) worked as part of a team to find the most cost-effective method for constructing this 40' high, 157,000 sq.ft. cooler/freezer warehouse.

The facility design included a 7,000 sq.ft. office, as well as significant green-site development for truck circulation and parking for 250 employees. In order to meet Maple Leaf's commitments, the facility design and construction was completed extremely quickly. Working together, Maple Leaf and our team used fast-track construction methodology to meet the aggressive schedule; design and construction proceeded almost simultaneously.
