Centennial Foods

Stuart Olson Dominion was invited to tender this project along with two other major contractors. We had just completed a similar project for the client, and based on the complex nature of this type of facility in particular, and the requirements of Canadian Food Inspection Agency, we were awarded this contract. The building included approximately 35,000 ft2 of production area (precast and zeroloc construction), approximately 33,000 ft2 of plant area - i.e.: freezer, coolers, shipping (structural steel and zeroloc construction), approximately 19,000 ft2 of mezzanine (structural steel and hollow core), and approximately 18,000 ft2 of office area. The project was started in May 2001 and completed through the winter 9 months later.
