Blackfoot Crossing Pavilion

The Blackfoot Crossing Legacy Project overlooks the historically significant Blackfoot Crossing site on the Siksika Reserve. The building is an interpretive centre with a footprint representative of a teepee tarp laid flat on the ground. The concrete and steel structure incorporates a number of complex and unique elements, such as the "bowstring" trusses which frame the main viewing area towards Blackfoot Crossing.
