Heritage Park
We were proud to play a major role in one of Calgary's most prized historic sites. Heritage Park underwent a $44 million expansion through the addition of two new attractions.
A two-storey Heritage Building houses retail space on the main floor, and administration offices above. Building materials including brick, clapboard, wood windows and tin ceilings have been selected in keeping with the heritage theme.
Gasoline Alley incorporates exhibit space to display antique cars and trucks as well as space to accommodate large functions and events. This building was constructed of concrete and steel, and will feature handmade timber trusses in the exhibit area. A freight elevator was installed to take vehicles into the basement, where they may be stored.
The project also included substantial site work, including parking and a wet pond to attract ducks and other water fowl.
