Peter Lougheed Centre Redevelopment

Stuart Olson Dominion broke ground early in 2005 as Construction Manager for the Major Capital expansion and renovation to the Peter Lougheed Centre. Our team remained committed to this project through several phases, and was involved in many upgrades in addition to the initial redevelopment.

Comprised of 3 stages, Phase 1 began with the relocation of roads, parking, and site services. Phase 2 began later in 2005, with the construction of a new wing that houses four inpatient units and an Intensive Care Unit. Interior renovations to several existing hospital departments, including the coronary care unit, special care nursery, operating rooms, diagnostic imaging, and the emergency room, successfully concluded the project.
